The studio
A small group, deeply opinionated about how solar should be done.
We are nineteen engineers, three architects, two analysts, and a dog named Watt. We design and install around forty systems a year — never more — because at that scale every install gets the partner-level attention it deserves.

Chapter 01
Origin.
Daniel Hsu was an architect frustrated with seeing beautiful homes ruined by retrofit solar. Mira Okafor was a Berkeley grad student modeling next-generation cell efficiency. They met at a permitting office in 2013 and started Quantum Solar the following spring.
Twelve years later the studio is small on purpose — close enough that the engineer who designs your system is the one who shows up at the meter cabinet on commissioning day.
